I was woken up on Christmas day by one of my good friends. Talked with them for awhile. Took some allergy medicine and went back to sleep. Woke up to a phone call from my mom telling me to wake up. Dad made us breakfast which was super good. Miss my dad's cooking for sure. Had a surprise phone call that totally made my day :)

Carlos and I couldn't decide if we were going to see our sperm donor or not. We ended up deciding not to go and going over to Aunt Sue's. I was really excited to see that side of the family. I haven't seen them in years. I was going to get to meet for the first time, my cousin Jared's youngest 2 sons. I hadn't seen him since his oldest was a few months old, he is now 5!!

I had such a great time with my family. I really miss them all so much. Jared's boys are so darn cute. I hate that I haven't had a chance to get to know them. I'm thinking I need to visit Michigan more. I was watching my Aunt with them. It's so awesome to see her as a grandma. I'm sad that our grandparents didn't get a chance to be great-grandparents. I really miss my family. A lot. If and when I have kids, I want them to know this part of my family. I haven't done a good job of keeping in touch with my family but I'm going to do a better job. That's for sure.

All in all, my Christmas was good. I'm missing certain people and hoping that everyone everywhere had a good Christmas.
