Tick Tock Tick Tock

Work has been draining the life out of me. By the time I get home, I'm so exhausted I can't even think. Last week was the worst week I've had at work in the two months I've been there. Nothing but problems, complaints and an employee with an attitude problem. Seven straight days of that and even the most patient person in the world is going to snap. I was so ready for my day off last Thursday.

I got my lab results back on the PCOS test and the levels were extremely elevated so now I have to go to an endocrinologist for more testing and to get treatment.

With all the work and health stuff going on I wasn't even looking forward to my birthday. I was just over everything and the only thing I wanted was sleep. But luckily I snapped out of that and actually started to get excited about it on Saturday.

Saturday night, my girls and I went out to dinner at No Way Jose's. It was yummy. Prior to us going out, Tiffany made me a drink to get me started, it was Sunny D and banana rum. Then at the restaurant I had a strawberry daquiri. After dinner, we decided to go to a karaoke bar. We tried Crawdaddy's but they were packed and there was nowhere to sit. We went over to the Grand Plaza hotel's bar and stayed there. It was so much fun. I drank 3 amaretto sours (my usual favorite) and introduced Pam to them. I wasn't getting even the littlest bit drunk so Tiffany started buying me shots of Patron. By the end of the that, I had drank 6 shots of Patron almost back to back. I was throwing the shots back and not even chasing it with anything.  I was definitely drunk after that. I'm actually really surprised I managed to even walk myself to the car. After she got me drunk, Tiffany insisted that we all sing a song with her. So me, Pam and Tiff sang Something to Talk about by Bonnie Raitt. I could barely stand up through the whole song.. lol. Tiffany sang two other songs and killed it. She's awesome.

I had such a great time with my girls. We always do. Thanks to Tiffany, Angela, Pam and Paula for making it great. I love you all muchly.

Sunday night ( my actual birthday), I had dinner at Mom's. It was good. I rode out there with my sister. We stayed out there for awhile then came home. I was so exhausted (still from the night before). My brother called me and we talked for almost an hour and then  I was in bed shortly after midnight.
