I love the Stephanie Plum series by Janet Evanovich. If you haven't read these, you need to immediately. They are addictive. My mom introduced to me to them many years ago for Christmas. I didn't actually get into them until I was recovering from surgery. I was instantly hooked. There are now 17 books in the series, soon to be 18.

I was beyond ecstatic when I found out they were making a movie based on the first book "One for the money". It got delayed a few times but is set to release in January. I looked up the casting awhile ago and wasn't happy at all with who they cast.  I do love that Katherine Heigl is playing Stephanie Plum. The big disappointments in casting are Stephanie's two love interests Ranger and Joe. Ranger is this big, bad ass, Batman type of guy and the guy they have playing him just doesn't look the part, to me anyway. Joe's character, I was expecting someone tall, dark, handsome... black hair.. etc. Not someone with light brown hair. I'm probably just disappointed because it's not who I had pictured in my mind. I think Katherine Heigl, has Stephanie nailed.

At first, I didn't think I'd like the movie at all but after watching the trailer a few times, I think I'm going to really like it. I hope the movie stays true to the book.
